“Just A Thought”

Many have asked, “Where is Just a Thought?” Since starting my pod cast, I traded one for the other. However, instead of doing “just A Thought” for December via our pod cast, I felt led to write a year end article. I shared with our church family, several weeks ago, and I hope this encourages you especially if you are enduring a difficult season at present.

“It is Finished” is a three word sentence uttered by Christ on the cross. In fact, this was His last statement before He took His last breath. Wise people state; you always want to lean close to your loved one and listen intently to their final words. They will most likely be remembered forever by the listener. My firm belief is Christ never said anything without a definitive purpose. His words were His life. Direct, meaningful, wise, full of strength, authority, blessing, conviction, healing, you get the point. Jesus Christ said what He meant and His anointed, humble life was all the backup needed. After all He is life, He is the Word that sustains all life and He became flesh, but existed through the Word before ever making His debut in His physical form on earth.

So why would Christ utter “It is Finished”? Why was this statement so relevant? He could have said anything so what meaning behind the statement was so significant and for whom? Christ wanted those watching Him leave this life, to hear His words. So, obviously strong significance is associated with the statement. It is our Kick off to bringing to our mind, the victory we own because of what Christ accomplished.

Typically, we view the New Testament’s beginning with the book of Matthew. The Old Testament closes with Malachi. A page is turned and we begin to read the words of Matthew and the Holy Spirit’s leading him to describe in detail the move of God through Christ. However, the total purpose of Christ coming to earth and living among us was ultimately to die for us! His death secured our right to be completely forgiven and restored back to our Heavenly Father. His death secured for all mankind the privilege of eternal life.

The final words of Christ ushered in this fact, the New Testament , came bounding through with a secure foundation nothing can ever hold you down again. Everything that could rise up to defeat you had now been taken care of through the PERFECT death of Christ. He paid in full for every destructive pattern of sin by remaining perfectly submitted to the process set before Him. The process of destroying sin and never bowing to its seductive power. Never, not once, was the life or testimony of Christ compromised! He won the war of all wars for you and me.

Such a dichotomy that in Christ final seconds of life, in His complete fragility, everything was secured, paid for and oh P.S. by the way, the enemy completely defeated. When we face defeating cycles in our life, those that creep up on us and we find once again we are lamenting in self-defeat, remember Christ gave us gold. We now can say to those defeating thoughts, patterns, conflicts, whatever may be robbing us of peace “It Is Finished”! Christ took care of our failures on Calvary. Now we walk in our personal victory attained by Christ by saying to our situation; “It Is Finished”. You and I need to say what we believe. We believe Christ took care of sin, sickness and disease. So, when we are being tempted to cave in to it’s seductive power to deceive us from our God-given victory, we must speak the words of deliverance. The enemy knows what we possess, we need to know it! Keep saying the Word, the Word keeps delivering us from all the lies of the enemy, Christ did His part for us. We need to do our part for us; agree with his finished work. Disagree with the liar of our souls, agree with our redeemer!

Christ never lied to us ever. He cannot. So we have this confidence in Him. We can be free. In fact, Christ died for us to be able to live free. This is so important Church. We will go through difficult times. Areas of our life are stubborn. They have taken residence in our heart and mind. They do not want to leave us. Oh no, they like their area of control. These lies fight to empower us to believe we cannot change. Well on our own that is correct. However, with Christ we can. This is not hype or some positive thinking cache. This is real. Through Christ; all things are possible. All of Heaven rejoices when we believe that truth for ourselves. Christ and all of Heaven take no pleasure in our doubt or unbelief. Even in our suffering our faith in Christ will keep us in a united place of trust.

No one can pre-determine what life will bring. “Sufficient for the day is the evil there-of”. Tough times in all of our lives is a certainty, how we respond is not. Respond in your most trying times like Jesus did. “It Is Finished”. Christ took care of us and as we follow in His steps, we also, will acquire the victory. It will take time, energy and effort on your part but are you not worth the finished work of Calvary? Of course, the answer is yes. Christ did not die in vain. Now pick up your tear stained eyes, your weak arms and feeble knees. Rise up gaze into Heaven, where an angelic host is watching. Believe you are worth the victory that was won for you. Every time you are pressing through, remember Christ Finished so you too, can be a finisher!! Move on by faith in your life. Resolve now that the gift you are will be used to empower others. Live, prosper, be in good health, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

YOU ARE WORTH
THE GOOD FIGHT.
That Is The One You Win!!

                         “Just A Thought”

Greeting’s:

Happy Summer to Everyone. Hope you enjoy your family, friends and most importantly your Father who makes all things abound to you by His grace. Last Friday at 3:30 a.m. I was up and found it hard to fall back to sleep, so I decided to read a little and before long found myself with a pen and paper. Hope you are blessed and please no matter where you may find yourself today, remain encouraged. Your God has everything under control.

“2019 – Transition Year –“

Though situations have meant to develop you into mature spiritual sons/daughters, and a time of crossing over to a “New Beginning”. Although 2019 could look tumultuous and overarching at times, the true goal was to reach new places in your heart with Christ. 2019 was to bring closure to old patterns, places, and things. From the ashes of your yesterdays, the spring board of new hope, new horizons and beginnings are coming into the heart of the seeker who would become the “New Overcomer”… God is using the less familiar to produce muscles of faith, steadfastness and courage into every believers heart.

The pressure has caused some to grow weary, wither and faint. Running to area’s less formidable. However, there will be no lasting provision for the wanderer. Their travels will leave them drier, thirstier, and hungrier than before. Only those who are persistent will receive their reward.

The Hebrew year number for 2019 is 5779. A great awakening has been taking place all year. June is another transitioning from one place to another. Hands open to RECEIVE is entirely different than hands open to GET. God has said to the astute - this month begins a walking out-to walking into an entire new course of destiny. 5780 is the Hebrew number for the new year. Interesting 8 stands for New Beginnings!! 2020 – is our calendar year for the making of a whole new shift and level of God!!

To him who has an ear to hear – let him hear what the Spirit is saying:

“Your responsibility is to allow me to develop you  -  open your hands to receive the new - allow the crushing of the old order – It cannot work or be of any value in my new dispensation. Align your life to the true and only calendar of your life.” Align with God’s biblical alignment.

We are on the Bridge – However when we leave the bridge, we will be in a whole new level of grace.

Keep Walking
We are about to change the world!

Until Next Time,
Prophet Kathie

“Just A Thought”

Greetings Friends! It has been a while since we last met together. Can I just say, this first quarter of 2019 has been nothing less than challenging for many, heartbreaking for others, outstanding victories for some and oh by the way, the rest of us are reeling from our fair share of suddenlies!!

The testing’s have been real! Our faith has been stretched beyond what even those astute in their relationship with God could imagine. Friendships have gone through the fire, families tried and let us not forget how we are bombarded daily by the media, news reports and social unrest. Our nation is being challenged and I truly hope we are not as a people found wanting. While there are many questions and too few answers, I worry that people have become so overwhelmed with society and its woes, which of course affect us, that we adopt a see no evil philosophy.

As Christians, we are reminded that where sin abounds so does grace and it comes back against sin with a holy righteous knockout punch. Jesus Christ is our hope, our grace, our mercy, our justice, our eternal life, our complete answer to every ill we see. His voice is still able to counter all the many voices bombarding our life. While times they are a-changing, the will of God to see people including us healed, protected, restored, and whole will not change, but remain a constant.

The Bible states: “Where our heart is, there also will be our treasure.” What we really love and admire will be where our focus will concentrate on. So a real question every believer needs to answer is “What or who am I relying on to get me through each day?” The Bible clearly tells us we cannot serve two masters. This of course is not because God has an identity problem but because we do. Whatever captures our attention and takes us away from the Lord and His abiding principles will always cause us trouble. Our souls will be infected with the disease of self-delusion. No matter what the world is serving up these days; we are not of the world. We are Kingdom people! We receive our daily instructions from the court room of Heaven. We live in a different realm then cable news. So, having said that, the world is in a place of massive confusion, lies and deceit. We know evil forces are strategizing for the attention of mankind. However, no matter how bad things may get, there will be ravens in the bush for us. A huge, massive, outpouring, of the Holy Spirit is coming to a town near you! This is exciting because when it does people are going to leave the lies and become part of our eternal family. We may not have the freedom’s we have enjoyed for so long as Christians from the secular community but with God all things are possible, and we will succeed in our God-given agendas. Be sure of that. No weapon formed against the family of God shall prosper.

May we let our roots of Christianity go deep, deep, deep into Christ Jesus, He will sustain us. Also, be connected to people who love you, encourage you, cover you, pray for you because our security will be within the family of God. Make no mistake about it. You and your family are very special to the heart of God. His intentions for you are pure and His hope is that you and I will want what He wants for us. Our hearts should ache to see what is happening in our schools, laws concerning abortion, our borders who cannot help the flow of humanity seeking a better life. We all must keep asking God for wisdom and guidance. Always remembering the ills of today will not just fade into the sunset but we render justice in prayer. So come together, let’s gird up our loins and continue to be vigilant. God is, He really is going to have the final say.

Sending blessings and may you behold in what God has given you to do in this lifetime. Keep yourself encouraged, the best is yet to be. Never believe the lie that the church is finished. We will rise and move the gates of Hell.

To God Be The Glory

                      “Just A Thought”
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

For the past several weeks driving home from the office I have enjoyed many beautiful Christmas decorations. It seems this year the homes, business centers, church’s and the like have really amped up their efforts to delight because the sparkle, twinkle and color is so amazing! Color is magic! It invokes beautiful emotions and splendid memories. As I drive home my mind is full of Christmas past. So grateful for family, friends and being graced with the revelation of what Christmas really means.

Although this year has presented it’s fair share of challenges for so many, God has not changed. He remains our stability in life and the steadfast love that we all so need. His presence is available to us anytime, anywhere and it is given to us all in abundance. As we celebrate the joy of Christ coming to earth and changing the trajectory of mankind, may we humble ourselves to receive a new impartation of His presence. God wants us to realize a new, new, new, birthing of revival has an appointment with mankind. Just like the Sheppard’s, wise men, angels, Mary and Joseph came to their destination at the appointed time to welcome Christ, we too are being drawn to our special time. Perceive what is coming and know this; God is not slack in His promises to us.

Yes, the lights and decorations are beautiful this year. They are sending a message of hope if we choose to see it. Celebration is here and as the church becomes brighter with the presence of Christ, our light will glow for the lonely traveler who needs a place called home. God is ready, let’s do our part and become containers for a massive shout of hope for those who so need it. Hope you have a beautiful Christmas and may the warmth of love given so freely by our Father through Christ, warm our hearts for the New Year ahead!

Merry Christmas!

“Just A Thought”

Are any of you in a place called Transition? It is where you define an ending and are reaching for a new beginning. Being moved by Godly circumstances you may be in full agreement with the change. However, with going forward, it does present some new challenges. Not the least of which is, “we have never been here before.” Though, we cannot fully see our new position, we know, we are in too deep to turn back now. So, we utilize everything we have learned to this point and exercise our faith to believe God has “got” this and if we just trust in His ability, we know we can have this!

Our lives can become so entangled in problems, struggles, and shortages, we can become paralyzed with indecision. Therefore, our questions can be very impactful and sometimes we just do not see the answers. This is not our fault, but none the less, it is our problem to see changed. Above all else, refuse to accept your current condition as normal. You have cried, prayed, fasted, submitted and you now must be fully confident that God Almighty has your back.

As we remain teachable and learn our lessons, remain open to all that is around us, we listen better, respond with accuracy and realize nothing can remain the same that is given to the Lord. You cannot be in His presence without changing.

Life is not a quest of successes or failures, but rather; Am I learning? So, in the times of transition we should be asking what do I need to be learning? What should I be focused on? As I take the steps forward, I loose my fears of the unknown. They are replaced with a new strength of “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.”

The world is in a bit of a mess. Pride is rampant and so many leaders are blinded. Our fellowship’s have become more socially conscience instead of God centered. Our hope is in this dying system and not in the will of our Father. If the church would get her center right again and be motivated to see Heaven come to earth, we would all be so healed!! Amos declares; “The days are coming, that a famine shall be sent to the land. Not of bread or water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.” The beauty of not knowing everything about your new season is this, God does! When we are squeezed through the eye of the needle, we must trust, trust, trust! “We look deeper, pray longer, hope till the answer comes. We refuse to run from place to place looking for a quick fix. No, we stand on the Rock of all Ages, knowing He holds us in the palm of His hand. Nothing will in any way harm my faith in God. Why? Because I know, you know, we all know he can do it Again, Again, and Again!

This is a time of birthing destiny. Stay in the Word, stay focused on His presence, remain loyal to your God, Your family and yourself. Don’t quit, Don’t get behind, Don’t settle! God has great outpouring’s scheduled for us! Revival, Revival, Revival! Pray for it, See it, Embrace it. Your transition is bringing you to your destined place in God.

God Bless You,
Prophet Kathie

“It’s Just A Thought”

May Blessings, Grace and Peace be your portion now and forever.
For several weeks I have chosen to sit, be still and get a real moment by moment cadence with Jesus Christ! Like you, the abundance of white noise has been at times deafening. So many voices clamoring for attention. At times it becomes obnoxious. I figured no one needed anything from me until there really was an encouraging word from Heaven.

To be sure, we are living in very complicated times, yet God is well able to sort through the chatter and give you and I a sure word. He is waiting for us to “cry out” for His presence. His joy is really a cup of living water. His word is fresh bread to a starving soul. He quietly waits for His people to get in a serious posture of waiting on Him, while maintaining a heart of courage. He waits for His people to lift a hand toward Him, knowing full well He has everything under control. Time, places, relationships, our next breath is all in His control. His heart is the only place, to hear correctly and be revived.

While I can appreciate being able to work for and with God, I am acutely aware being busy does not mean being spiritual. Sometimes busyness actually robs us of intimacy with our beautiful Savior. In that personal, sacred space, between you and your Lord a transfer of healthy spiritual exchange takes place and in that connection, we can take another step forward.

If you are feeling a little frustrated with life right now, hold on, Jesus will reward you with an abundance of truth. Frustration can get us out of sync with the Holy Spirit or it can draw us deeper to Christ. He has all peace and answers to the complexity of our life. Working through your questions, dark nights, loneliness, and being misunderstood is what Christ excels in guiding us through. He has promised to never leave us alone, stranded on the island of no answers. There is a “WORD OF THE LORD” for you dear one. It may sound selfish, especially if you are a giver, to take large portions of your week to engage in prayer and worship with Christ. However, don’t entertain that thought. It is a beautiful time for you, who love God to get re-calibrated in Him. From that place, rivers of living water will again flow, manna will be in abundance, your life will be refreshed and your fruit from life will be satisfying.

Revival is held in our heart. It may physically manifest in a location, but first and foremost it needs to be produced within a human soul. God is listening to your cry. He hears you and His people at large all over the world ! People everywhere are asking the important questions; “Who am I?”, “Why am I here?” Our church is experiencing new visitations, from the Lord, and we are endeavoring to follow Him wherever He leads us.

As I write this, one of our Elders was healed during our office day. Yes, God interrupted our office busyness to heal His daughter! God can do anything, anytime, anywhere, He is not restricted by time or space. I can hear the sound of rain, it is coming to us friend and God is getting all the glory. Let Him have His way, re-calibrate and watch how God brings total restoration of His truth and presence to your life.

Pray for the Rain,
Prophet Kathie

“It’s Just A Thought”

No matter where you may find yourself these days it is obvious that; “Times’ they are a changing”. It is, as if, our world is sliding into the sea of insanity. No peace, no joy, no lasting solutions. Fear is the order of the day and hateful speech has replaced kind words.

I have always been so grateful for my Christian Values. The Word is a guide and light to my soul. However, I am more grateful than ever for the love of church family and my relationship with Christ. Each week, our sanctuary is full of loving hugs, warm smiles, and knowing who ever may be at the pulpit, we will all hear a steady dialogue of faith filled words declaring Jesus Christ is the answer to our problems.  We all serve a God who is completely devoted to helping us climb higher than we ever thought possible. He provides us with His divine counsel to achieve our seeming impossibilities in life. His love demonstrated through His people helps us to focus on what so ever is good, lovely and a good report. The negativity we continue to hear and see is replaced by the inspiring uplifting presence of Godliness. As darkness covers the systems of power in the world, it is refreshing to feel the church rising to her occasion. Men, women, young adults, reaching for the Lord to help others find Him too. After all our faith must reach beyond ourselves, our needs, our dreams, to extend and give away what so freely has been given to us.

How difficult must it be to live day after day with no real hope of anything getting better? The fragility of life can change a person forever. Without a hope in the forever with God, how can you expect people to keep pressing on? As we continue our Pilgrims Progress through 2018 may we continue to pray. Pray for the gospel to reach new in-roads. Pray for our spiritual family as never before to be inspired to live a life worthy of our call. “Forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead. I press, (we press) toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14.

Keep loving God, let God keep leading you and let’s keep loving, encouraging, helping one another. The world is waiting for us to show them how life can be so rewarding.

Beloved, let us love one another.
Until The Next Time,

Prophet Kathie

“Merry Christmas
Happy New Year”

To everyone reading this correspondence today, wishing you a beautiful December. As you prepare personally for the up-coming holidays, may we continue to pray this year will end with peace, joy and love.

When we see so many fractures in society hopefully we can remind ourselves “Jesus is the answer”. Our whole celebration of His birth centers on the fact His time had come. Things were not great for His generation either. People were in pain, poverty ruled in much of society, government was corrupt, heads of the religious world pompous, women degraded and slaves were usually not treated well. But, Christ, came to live out a life showing “This is how it is done”, while sealing the total deal with His death on an old rugged cross. Unless we explore the spiritual quality of Christmas we will not receive the full benefit of Christmas. Who does not love pretty lights, exquisite decorations, beautifully wrapped gifts? It is a feast for our senses. However, the humility of our Christ and His birth process holds a key to who Jesus came to be and why. He took the low road in everything during His life to show us anyone can start at one place, but our ending can be triumphant. A life lived celebrating a relationship with Christ will end with an eternal meaning.

We celebrate joy on December 25th due to a baby coming to earth. He was wrapped in hope, love and purpose. The baby grew to be a thoughtful, dignified, loyal, loving, miracle working, life raising, faith believing, joy making tribute to His father. Jesus left Heaven, came to us in innocence, and left us innocent! He now gives every heart that receives Him a new chance to live and celebrate the goodness of life. Christmas trees, music, lights, food, presents, being with family and friends is all part of the glorious legacy Jesus Christ left us. We celebrate the beauty and awe of this season simply because of who this season represents.

My prayer for you and me is simply may we find a little more room in our “inn” this year. A little more space in our hearts to be kinder, gentler, more gracious. Moving a little slower through our days of preparation for our “Holiday Cheer”. Taking deeper breaths of joy, praying as we go from our busyness to THINK of the goodness of God. The love of God. The provision of God. May we be taught a fresh and a-new of how lovely this relationship is with Him and do all we can to treasure our personal Jesus as the “Light of the World”.

Enjoy you days and
may God abundantly bless
you in the coming “New Year”.

God Bless You,

Prophet Kathie

“It’s Just A Thought”

Whatever happened to honesty? There was a time when a handshake closed financial deals. There also was an era where a person’s word was their bond. Morality and core values held a high value in our society. Godliness was in our prayers and pursuing the truth of His Word was an ambition. We then practiced what the Word stated and passed it on from one generation to another. Unfortunately we have lost our hunger for God and the less we thirst for Him, the more carnal we become. The slope is slippery and if I judge myself by the standard of anything less than the Word, where I end up in the scheme of things is non-negotiable. I can always excuse myself by saying “I’m glad I am not that BAD!” We are here to learn of God through His son Jesus Christ, then do our best by reflecting the love shed in our hearts to others.

Having said that, what should I be careful of? And watch to see if I may be losing my ground with intimacy with Christ? As my mom use to say, “Birds of a feather flock together. Be sure the people around you are loving and kind.” What is important to you should have a link in your relationship’s. You become like those around you. Keep your moral codes and do not lessen your core values for anyone. “To thine own-self be true.” Remember, we are talking here about your relationships. People who we spend time with. Those we help or spend time ministering to are a different category. They need our help. Relationships of friendship must be on equal ground, so to speak.

People we spend time with should encourage us and help us on our life journey. We celebrate one another! We lift each other to believe for change and a better life. We choose to be decisive concerning this. No one is perfect, however we all should want to become everything Christ paid for.

As women we are drawn to strength of character. We want trust in our relationship’s. So, trust Jesus to bring great people into your life. Those that will help you and I to love ourselves. We stay out of the pot holes of insanity. No more lies, no more hopelessness, no more self-degradation. Jesus wants to restore our brokenness to fruitfulness. Reflecting the grace of a kind, loving God.

We are life bearers. We have been given the grace to fix what is broken, heal what hurts, make something that does not look so nice, beautiful. God has breathed that into us and we need to guard against anyone exploiting it. We have so much potential and those coming behind us probably have even more. Pass on love, strength, hope, healing, compassion and understanding. Always understand, “But for the grace of God, go I.”

Remember, stay in touch with the Lord, His Word and allow lasting God-given relationship’s to prosper in your life. After all, you are here for a short time make it count for yourself, God and someone else!

Until The Next Time,
Prophet Kathie

Pass Your Gift Forward.

“It’s Just A Thought”

Every day we are bombarded with painful media about our nation and the world. The optics are very hard to watch and very difficult to accept. While we live in a nation with so much opportunity, we also deal with great challenges. However, America is still a great nation, with liberty for its citizens to make good choices and its government leaders to provide society the freedom to do so. Granted, we have many stains in our history. Harsh times when people were not kind or fair. However, thanks be to God, there always was a generation who stood up and changed the laws of our society, while working with the church to pray for courage to stand for justice.

If we are honest with ourselves, the church to a great degree has lost her focus. As leaders, perhaps we need to re-evaluate our concern for the optics of our ministry without considering the content. If we as believer’s are not concerned for the endurance of our communities, families, children and single’s, if we do not instill in people a sense of self-regard, loving, respect, and are not teaching the next generation the history of those who have gone before us, we are very short-sighted. History not learned from will undoubtedly be repeated. Perhaps a personal and collective promise to never forget “Love God and our neighbor” is in order. Stop promoting a life code of unfortunate self-absorption. Hate, rebellion and frankly insanity has reached epidemic proportion’s. We seem as a nation lost in the sea of hate and intolerance.

Church, we must again believe praying for divine intervention is an absolute! No one is benefiting from bad behavior. It is interesting to me, we will go fight on foreign soil for our neighbors to have a better life and safety. Should we revisit what our foundations of faith are while being determined to protect our freedom’s of liberty and justice for all? Our nation was built like none other. In spite of all our shortcomings, we still have been given a torch of light which our God expects to see glowing in the darkness.

Humility kills rebellion. It is the antidote for our sick society. Jesus Christ is our only core of true and lasting humility. We learn from Christ to humble ourselves. We receive guidance and learn to change from hate to love. Humility submits to the process and stays with it. Nothing big changes overnight and we as a people need to admit when we are wrong, apologize to those we have hurt and allow our lives to change. Life is much more beautiful with love in it. When we value the impact of Christ and the love He brings our lives, we begin to cherish what we never could in our previous season. If we pray for the love of God to be established once again in our lives and the life of our nation and appreciate conviction as a form of accountability, things can change.

America and the Church of Jesus Christ have stood together for equality and the right of life. We have prayed through wars, mobs, hatred and injustice. We need to do so again. Believe God wants to intervene in the lives of all people and our nation. Take our light, let it burn brightly, and herald a “new day”! “God grant us a lasting legacy of love in Jesus name.”

Until The Next Time,

Prophet Kathie

               “It’s Just A Thought”

All of us have been made in the image of our creator. Our rights, dignity, gifts, and freedoms, were always meant to be used as a benefit for our life, others, and to glorify God. As we mature in our spiritual gifting’s, character, emotions and intellect, we realize that by giving our gift away we learn the lesson of the “Secret Sauce” for life. We are the workmanship of God. We are unique, special, not made on an assembly line, but rather in the heart of God for a particular purpose. We are the original creation of an original God. Our destiny is wrapped in external purpose designed to bring blessings to our generation, and those yet to come. If we pray and seek the will of God we will be led to discover a life of richness and joy. He will guide us through our “genuine” life experiences to find our place on this planet and the reason for our existence. Although we were created equal by our Lord’s measurement, we should always guard our thoughts and actions. Too many of us believe a bad report about ourselves and thus hinder the uniqueness of our life journey.

Only believers receive God empowered abilities. These abilities are meant to serve God and bless others. You see, our Father wants His church family to truly realize we have been “called out”. We have within the framework of the family to meet every need. We pray prayers that changes situations, and within the family we find there is more than enough! We are truly blessed in our connection to our Lord and the life flow from our creator floods us with the Spirit of more than enough! No one should be found wanting if we stay true to our spiritual framework. We cannot earn the Love of God, neither do we deserve it! Everything from our Father is a GIFT!! The gift pours from Him to us and we allow these special gifts to flow to others. Remember our gift will make room for itself. In each of us is the great hope from God that we learn how to depend on each other.

Since everything we have has been gifted to us from God we do not own them. Rather, freely we have received, freely we give. It will be returned to you by God through a plethora of means. The body of Christ is meant to care for her-self by the empowering grace of Almighty God. Serve God from your heart, you will know you are when you do so with enthusiasm. No one has to motivate you, challenge you, or check up on you. You do it for the shear enjoyment of it and you are not looking for rewards, applause, or payment. You love serving in the capacity that you are in. Passion drives perfection. If you don’t care about what you are doing you probably will never be good at it. The greatest achievers are those who do what they do out of passion. So, pray, listen, and get in tune with your gifting’s and calling. We all need you and are waiting for you to step up, move out, bless those around you and give all the glory back to God! Believe, and you will love your journey!

                 “It’s Just A Thought”

Happy Father’s Day!

In a few days, we will celebrate our “Dad’s”. Families will gather together and show their father’s how much he is loved. Cards will be distributed, gifts will be exchanged and “Dad” will be made to feel super loved, a super hero, and #1.

Families who have a caring dad are blessed. It also is a proven fact for families to have a father who is present for his children, have a much better outcome than those who do not. A loving father builds a family from the inside out. He brings emotional, physical and spiritual dignity to his loved ones. One look into his eyes guarantees “Everything is going to be all right”. For a child this is epic.

Holding a family together with loving leadership is not always easy. We are real people living together as a family, engaging in a complex world, working through personal issues. There needs to be a constant within all the variables life gives to us. Somehow this unique responsibility of protecting and leading has been wired into our outstanding Fathers. They love to provide for their loved ones while daily slaying the dragon. Yes, good dad’s are eager to be the role model for their children and enjoy the fruit of their labor, every time their child excels in life. Proper instruction results in happy lives, and brings a sense of peace to the whole family.

What can we do to show our love and gratitude to the fathers who give so much? I think true understanding of their uniqueness is important. Sometimes it can be difficult for dad to express his thoughts, concerns, or fears. He needs to feel from his family a deep respect for who he is and all he tries to do.

We can welcome him home and lavish him with loving compliments. We can show our eagerness to be loving and present for him. It is the little things that establish the big results. Here are a few suggestions:

·         Show Dad Kindness.
·         Show an Interest in his daily routine.
·         Tell Him over and over ‘I Love You.’ And ‘I Respect You.’
·         Show Dad respect with obedience.
·         Never take Dad for granted.

Life is a process of growing. As we move into different seasons, may we remember family is our greatest asset. Keep giving and receiving understanding, love and respect. These three ingredients will produce an everlasting, positive, result. We all make mistakes and there are times we wish we could do somethings over. We are fallible human beings and with the grace of God as we grow we will be able to make less of them. However, keeping love as our focus, each member of this great human relationship called family grows and produces a living generational legacy. Who does not want that?

“Thank You” to every Dad who lives to give his family the love and understanding they need. May you live long, enjoy your children and grandchildren. May you see the labor of your love, live on in your children as they repeat all the wonderful values you instilled in them. Don’t get weary in well doing, never give up, your kindness, your love, and honor, will live on forever.

“It’s Just A Thought”

Mother’s Day is fast approaching! For those of us fortunate to still have our mom with us, we have another opportunity to say “Thank You”.

Although men have come a long way since the 60’s, only a woman can understand the miracle of life. As women we have been given the privilege by our creator to carry life and give life. Sure there are the days that we all have wondered “What’s next?” Too much to do and so little time to do it. Eventually, we figure it all out and life rolls forward. The seasons we face continue to flow and we watch our children grow, mature, sometimes fail, but always as we pray for them, we ponder all of the experiences in our heart, “Thank God” and leave the results to Him.

Wherever you are in life and whatever stage your children are in, know this, you are so important for the next generation. Our boys and girls need to know they are loved and above all ‘special ’. When they walk into the room, we need to be sure they understand how valued their life is. “Congratulations”, for the labor of love, understanding and your beautiful inspiration. You are the best and hopefully this poem will bless you.

A Mother's Love

A Mother's love is something that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain,
It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it or take that love away . . .
It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking,
And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . .
It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns,
And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . .
It is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation,
And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . .
A many splendored miracle man cannot understand
And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand.

“It’s Just A Thought”

Choice is a gift that we own as citizens of Christ’s Kingdom. We are able to exercise our free will and as believers hopefully we surrender to the Word of God as we make our decisions. Connecting our decisions by faith, to Christ led by wisdom, make them become divine. Every decision made by choice has attached to it a process. Where we are today, is a combination of everyday decisions let’s see how we can make good ones.

·        All successful people often joke that it took years to become an overnight wonder. It is the daily faithfulness to do mundane things well to develop productive habits and to remain faithful that eventually leads to successful endings. When we decide to serve life faithfully everyday favor leads us to great places. As women learning to become faithful, patient, influencers we can change another generation for good.

·        Refuse to allow things to get in our way. Determine if you’re headed in the right direction, if not change course and get on the right track. God does not want you to juggle so many balls that it feels impossible to keep going and impossible to stop. Learning to say no might help, you cannot do everything. Really, you cannot. Wait, get some good rest and get some godly wisdom from people you trust.

·        Stay where God planted you. When things get tough we sometimes want to throw our hands up and quit. Before making that decision, perhaps we should ask God first: “What do you want me to do?” Walking away may look very inviting, but what can God do if you have the courage to stay? Allow God His opportunity to turn things around, that is a GOOD decision.

·        Move as God says to. When God gives us a direction to move into, it can be scary. We usually want details and a sound assurance all will be well. However, God does not lead in that manner. He expects us to follow His directive by faith, trusting in a positive outcome.

We can be assured the road less travelled will be hard. You don’t need a detailed plan following the Lord, you need faith! You need to keep doing what you have done that brought you to this new place. Keep placing your trust and decisions on the faithfulness of God.

Try to remember the journey is everything. The day to day walk with the Holy Spirit is a thrill. How God is able to change us along the way while enabling us to a victory is everything. Your purpose is performed every day of your life; choose wisely. Your destiny is to be with Christ in Heaven forever. Enjoying His presence and rejoicing over His daily provision that got you through your day, to day.

God Bless You!
